Saturday 19th September 2026
On Saturday 19th September we met with our Youth Advisory Board for the first in-person meeting of the academic year, welcoming 9 new members to LMK’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB), making the Board up to 17 members altogether.

This meeting was a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and start building relationships as a group. We also wanted our new members to experience LMK’s work for themselves, so Alex led the group through our 10 Signs workshop, giving everyone an introduction to LMK’s core offer.
We then looked ahead to the year to come, talking through LMK’s priorities and the different areas where the YAB will have an opportunity to contribute, share their views and impact LMK’s work.

The feedback from the YAB was really encouraging, members told us they enjoyed meeting new people, felt welcomed and are excited about the year ahead and being ambassadors for LMK.
We’re looking forward to working with all our YAB members over the coming year and making sure their voices, ideas and experiences continue to play an important role in what we do, supporting young people to have happy, healthy relationships, free from abuse. We will be sharing more about some of the new members soon.
