Delving Deeper: continuing the conversation

This workshop is the next step for anyone who has completed our ‘Introducing the 10 Signs’ workshop, which forms the foundation of our programme and must be completed by everyone.

During our Delving Deeper workshop, young people explore the 10 Signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships in greater depth, building the skills to navigate complex situations and the practical tools to seek help when worried about a friend.

Co-designed with young people to reflect their lived experiences, the content is relevant, accessible, and impactful. This session supports schools in meeting updated RSHE requirements from September 2026, specifically the increased focus on real-world relevance and youth voice.

This workshop recognises that relationships aren’t always straightforward, and that challenging unhealthy behaviour can be difficult.

Overview:

This interactive workshop empowers young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to:

  • Build healthy foundations: Foster respectful and positive connections in all areas of life, from dating to long-term friendships.
  • Recognise & respond: Identify harmful behaviours – in their own lives and their peers’ – understand how these feel in the body, and gain the confidence to seek support.
  • Become a trusted ally: Learn how to listen, respond, support a friend without judgement and nurture a healthy relationship.
  • Challenge harmful attitudes: Learn to safely and constructively address unhealthy beliefs, social pressures, and “group-think” that can normalise abuse.

Our approach:

The session is delivered by highly skilled professionals using a trauma-informed, youth-centered approach to ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all.

Key workshop outcomes:

By the end of the session, young people will be able to:

  • Recall and cement the 10 Signs: Refresh the core foundations of healthy and unhealthy relationships to ensure total confidence in identifying them.
  • Support a friend with a clear action plan: Move from “noticing” to “doing” by learning how to start a safe conversation and support a peer without making things worse.
  • Protect their own mental well-being: Recognise how different relationship behaviours affect them personally and set boundaries that keep them safe.
  • Challenge harmful attitudes safely: Identify and speak up against unhealthy “norms” or social pressures they see in their peer groups or online.

The LMK difference: Co-designed by young people

Our content is developed with our Youth Advisory Board, ensuring it speaks the language of young people today. Our workshops are led by youth workers who are expert facilitators – many with lived experience – to foster a non-judgmental and safe environment. This creates the trust necessary to handle sensitive topics effectively while maintaining a rigorous safeguarding culture.

A whole school approach to RSHE

With the new Relationship, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE) requirements now a national priority, schools must embed specialist education into their curriculum.

LMK acts as your specialist partner to help you achieve a whole school approach. By integrating our youth-co-designed sessions, you ensure that you are meeting the RSHE requirements and, most importantly, are delivering safe, trauma-informed relationship education that is relevant to the lived experiences of your students.
